Paul Pfaffenbichler
Paul Pfaffenbichler (born July 23, 1925 in Seitenstetten ; † September 17, 2003 in St. Pölten ) was an Austrian architect.
Life
Pfaffenbichler studied at the Technical University of Vienna and graduated in 1951 with a diploma. In 1953 he founded an architecture office and received the civil engineering license in 1960. In 2002 his office was transferred to a civil engineering company, where his youngest brother Hansjörg Pfaffenbichler is the managing director.
Pfaffenbichler implemented numerous building projects in Lower Austria, such as residential complexes, schools, kindergartens, hospitals and industrial buildings. He also carried out the local construction supervision at the Landhaus St. Pölten .

- 1954–1959: with Reinhard Pfoser : addition of a foyer to the city halls in St. Pölten
- 1961: Conversion of the council meeting room in the town hall of St. Pölten
- 1957–1962: parish church hl. Nikolaus von der Flüe in Vestenthal
- 1960–1963: New building: secondary school in St. Georgen am Steinfelde
- 1963–1966: with Reinhard Pfoser: Tax office in Melk at Bahnhofstrasse 25
- 1965–1981: Four-wing, nine-storey main building of the hospital in St. Pölten at Propst-Führer-Straße 4
- 1968: Reconstruction, extension of a three-story magazine: State Theater Lower Austria in St. Pölten
- 1970–1974: Entrance wing and storage halls in the main municipal cemetery in St. Pölten
- 1972–1973: Parish Church of the Conception of Mary in Krummnussbaum
- 1976–1978: New building: Federal Institute for Kindergarten Education and Social Education St. Pölten
- 1977–1979: Extension: St. Benedikt Seitenstetten Education Center
- 1988–1990: New building: District office of the Lower Austrian Regional Health Insurance Fund in St. Pölten
- 1992–1996: Extension: St. Pölten Regional Court
