Vestenthal is a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Haidershofen in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 103 building areas with 41044 m² and 123 gardens on 292293 m² in the cadastral community Vestenthal, in 1989/1990 there were 100 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 185 and in 2009/2010 there were 245 buildings on 540 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 320 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 51 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 340 hectares and 52 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 312 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 56 hectares. Vestenthal's average soil climate number is 43.3 (as of 2010).
