While a church in St. Veit was first documented in 1313, the oldest components of today's parish church date from the late 14th century. In 1730/31 there was a generous expansion of the church structure. Inside, frescos from the late 14th century and the second quarter of the 15th century have been preserved, the altarpiece of the late Baroque high altar shows St. Vitus with his tutor Modestus and the nurse Creszentia.
