The small rectangular building made of quarry stone masonry under a shingle roof has a lattice door (this is marked with 1597), the core of the building is probably older, it was mentioned as early as 1500 as "Klösterleschmiede". Original forge equipment preserved. The east side is a Brechelstube grown with a brick oven tons. The smithy is part of the East Tyrolean open-air museum .

The town house has a core dating back to the 16th century, modified by the Baroque. The two-storey building with a gable roof was last rebuilt in 1990 and has a simple architectural structure. A hemispherical coat of arms stone of the Lords of Graben is located above the segmental arched portal . A sundial with the coat of arms of the Rain and Sumereck family from the 17th century adorns the building.

The Barbarahof consists of the former farm building of the Oberhueber garden and the former gate tower of the city fortifications. In 1991 the facility was completely rebuilt. The two-storey farm building with a saddle roof over a trapezoidal floor plan integrates parts of the city wall from the 14th century, the two-storey, rectangular gate tower was probably added in the 14th century, with the current structure dating from the 15th to the 16th century.

The two-storey building with a steep, hipped brick roof and dormer windows has a slender, shingled roof turret and an entrance facade that is strictly structured by adding rows of windows and doors. The north facade, on the other hand, has two risalit-like, elevated components with stairwells. The barracks was built between 1938 and 1939 as part of the "police barracks for motorized gendarmerie" according to plans by Walter Mayer from Lienz.

The Marian column was designed by Michael Rasner in 1716 and originally stood on the main square until it was moved to its current location in 1861. The column with Ionic capital is made of red marble, above it rises a figure of Maria Immaculate on the globe with a snake.

The old town hall was built between 1770 and 1772 according to plans by Thomas Mayr instead of the Luegerhaus for the garrison battalion. In 1932 the building was redesigned for the municipal power station. After the Second World War it served as the town hall and since 2005 as an inn. The three-story building under a hipped roof is predominantly shaped by the renovation of the 1930s.

The former citizen's hospital was named in 1308, expanded from 1475 to 1480, later structurally altered several times, and was used as a hospital until 1931. It connects directly to the hospital church St. Josef on. Today the building is part of the Bundes-Oberstufenrealgymnasium Lienz.

The elongated, four-storey building with a raised, three-part central projection on the long sides was built between 1910 and 1911. On the north side, cornered, north-facing side wings were added, the entrance portal with curved gable and coat of arms of Emperor Franz Joseph is pilaster-framed. The facade decoration was grooved on the ground floor, the upper floors were divided vertically by decorative panels.

The infirmary is documented as early as 1334 and originally served to care for the terminally ill. The two-storey building has a regular facade structure and a steep pitched roof. The mural on the south side from 1612 shows the raising of Lazarus , the sundial dates from the 17th century.

In the garden of the former infirmary is the oldest preserved painted wayside shrine in Tyrol from the late 14th century. It consists of a round pillar with a massive, clapboard-covered niche top that shows the crucifixion, the adoration of the three wise men, saints Dorothea and Katharina as well as two bishops and saint Christopher.

The St.-Josefs-Stöckl is a brick-built niche shrine with an attachment, which was mentioned in a document as early as 1583, but was rebuilt in 1953 based on the old model at the current location. The Widum is located southwest of the parish church and is surrounded by a garden with a wall and a pavilion. The core of the late medieval massive building with hipped gable roofs is grouped around a small courtyard. The oldest part adjoins the cemetery wall in the north, a later-built middle-floor house connects to the west and the third, lower floor was added in the first half of the 17th century. 1910–1914 and 1966/1967 the Widum was rebuilt and heavily changed. On the south facade there is a wall painting of St. John the Baptist from the 17th century, on the west facade a sgraffito of St. Andreas von Oswald Kollreider of 1967. The interiors are largely modernized in the oldest part have groined vault rooms in the west wing sting cap vaulted archive and library spaces preserved.

The round arch niche with wrought iron grids houses a high quality figure of Christ with a purple cloak, crown of thorns and a wreath of rays, which probably dates from the beginning of the 19th century.

The freedom fighter monument was erected in 1910 by Alois Pichler to commemorate the Tyrolean freedom struggles next to a tall linden tree. The obelisk-shaped monument stands on a high plinth and step wreath bordered by oak leaves and is crowned by an eagle with a bronze storm flag. The inscriptions are chiseled and traced with dark paint.

The confessional presumably dates from the 16th century and was bought by the Dominicans in 1646 as a residence for the confessors and preachers of the monastery. After a fire in 1798, it was also used as a school for the city of Lienz. The two-storey building with a gable roof has color-accentuated plastering flasks, tall rectangular box windows on the upper floor as well as a segmented arch and a rectangular portal.

Presumably the cemetery that has existed since the parish was established. 1828 to 1831 renovation after part of the surrounding wall collapsed. Increasing decline after the dissolution in 1905. Refurbishment in 1925 in the course of the construction of the district war memorial . On the north and west side there are late classical arcades from the period from 1828 to 1831 with a mighty portal building in the axis of the church; on the north side the chapel of the district war memorial is integrated into the enclosure. In the eastern wall, high round-arched or segment-arched wall niches, some with paintings, Life, Death and Resurrection from the years 1955/1956 and a mural St. Hubertus from 1955. A prayer chapel in the south-east corner. Late Gothic and early Baroque chapel niches on the south wall, probably from the 16th century in the central area. Tombs are now almost exclusively on the surrounding walls.

The chapel of the district war memorial is integrated on the north side of the old cemetery . The memorial for the fallen and missing in East Tyrol in the two world wars was built in 1924/1925 in place of the former north portal and including the adjacent arcades. Designed by Clemens Holzmeister . Due to the unusual iconography of the depictions by Albin Egger-Lienz , which caused offense, the chapel was closed for services in 1926; the renewed consecration did not take place until 1987. The mighty round arch niche in the slightly sloping south wall is flanked by blind arcades that lead into the adjacent rows of arcades integrate. Frescoed interior with depictions of the sower and the devil , the storm , the sacrifice of the dead and the risen one . Albin Egger-Lienz's grave.

The Lienz Citizens Hospital was founded in the 13th century. The hospital church of St. Josef (formerly Holy Spirit) comes from the late Gothic period and was redesigned in 1725. In 1988 the church was profaned , then refurbished and adapted for cultural events. The nave, with a single nave, three-bay floor plan, is spanned by a barrel vault and belt arches. The baroque interior, which is attributed to Anton Gigl's workshop, has largely been preserved.

The monument to Emperor Joseph II was erected in 1906 on the initiative of the Lienz poet Franz Gridle as the first such monument in Tyrol. Originally it was set up on the main square, during the Nazi era it was moved to the park north of the Michaelskirche , after restoration in 1984 it is now set up south of the Liebburg . The almost life-size figure made of cast iron stands on a high, stepped base with leaf decoration, frame fields and a final console cornice. The emperor himself is depicted in the usual iconography, in a uniform coat, with sword, golden fleece and the two stars of the order.

The Kleine Fronfeste, located in an important location next to the Liebburg , is one of the few houses on the main square that was not destroyed by bombs in World War II. In 1949 the house was extended and rebuilt, in 1979 it was expanded and modernized again. A wide arched passageway connects Hauptplatz and Europaplatz. In the building there was a two-story chapel with high arched windows, it was dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin and had a painting of Mary on the flat ceiling. With the abolition of the Haller Damenstift in 1783 and the takeover of the Liebburg by the state, the chapel was profaned and its inventory was auctioned.

The hospital was built in 1929–1931 according to plans by Hans Menardi as a replacement for the public hospital . The facility was rebuilt several times and expanded from 1955 to 1958 to include an infection house, 1958 to 1959 to include a nursing school and in 1966 to include a doctor and nurses house. The elongated four-storey core building has a differently structured facade, a hipped gable roof and an asymmetrical entrance and chapel risalit . The interior was redesigned and modernized while maintaining the spatial organization, with a central staircase and hospital rooms on the south side. The chapel was rebuilt and refurbished in 2000 according to plans by Josef Scherzer. The room, which extends over two floors, has a polygonal apse made of a glass tubular steel construction with a glass painting by Carl Rieder .

The WWI military cemetery was built between 1914 and 1915 and expanded to the west in 1916. In 1936 there was another expansion and the establishment of the Kaiser Karl Memorial Chapel . The cemetery is behind a larch portal with wrought iron gates. It houses wrought iron grave crosses of the same design and a natural stone monument in the shape of an obelisk.

The war cemetery of the Second World War was founded in 1942 and renovated in 1987. It is connected to the new part of the municipal cemetery by a gate. Lawn fields with simple wrought iron crosses are symmetrically structured by gravel paths. The main entrance is in the south through an architecturally designed gable portal. In the center of the complex there is a high natural stone stele with a flower border and an inscription tablet, crowned by a wrought iron cross. In the north of the complex there is a monument with name inscriptions and a wrought iron cross over a base.

The New Cemetery was laid out in 1900/1901, it was expanded in 1963 and the funeral halls were built north of the arcades. In 1984 it was enlarged again, and in 1988 the urn cemetery was laid out. A central axis leads to the chapel, the broad middle path is greened by a dense cypress avenue. Four transverse paths divide the grave fields into a total of ten blocks with loose trees. At the north-west corner there is access to the military cemeteries and the new part of the cemetery with a wrought-iron entrance.

The ossuary, also known as the warrior chapel or the Kaiser Karl memorial chapel, was built as a compact natural stone building in 1935/1936 in typical forms with a hipped gable roof. Next to the roofed vestibule supported by a wooden round pillar, there is a brick bell carrier with a double-headed eagle in the southeast corner. Arched portal with solid wooden door leaves. The warrior chapel is part of the WW1 military cemetery .
