The list of listed objects in Virgen contains the 24 listed , immovable objects of the municipality of Virgen in the district of Lienz ( Tyrol ).

The war memorial chapel is a memorial chapel built in 1958 according to plans by Josef Menardi for the fallen and missing of the two world wars. The roughly square chapel with a curved tent roof and open entrance is equipped with a monumental cross, monuments to the fallen and missing, as well as wooden reliefs and inscription panels.

The All Saints Chapel was built high above the village of Göriach on a rocky slope, although the building has been handed down as the oldest sacred building in the Virgental and, according to legend, was built in the 11th century. The chapel, first mentioned in 1614, has an asymmetrical floor plan due to its location on the rock and was built with field stone masonry. It has a tent roof with a wooden turret and houses two altars from the 17th century.

The group of crosses in front of the All Saints Chapel consists of renewed crosses covered with clapboard, carrying figures of Jesus and the two thieves . They probably come from the end of the 18th century.

The Ulrichskapelle is a chapel with a rectangular floor plan and a slightly retracted round choir under a slightly curved gable roof and a high, slender roof turret. The building, erected in 1799 instead of a previous building, houses a columned altar with a Mariahilf painting, which is a copy of the Innsbruck Cranach picture.

The Magdalenenkapelle or chapel “Our Lord in Misery” is a large, baroque chapel that was built between 1650 and 1655. The exterior of the chapel is characterized by the massive entrance tower on which an octagonal bell storey with an onion helmet is enthroned. In addition, the façades of the tower and chapel are characterized by yellow stone, cornice and frame structures. The altar, erected in 1798, shows the Pietà under the cross.

The Nepomuk chapel was built in 1818 on the road between Virgen and Welzelach instead of a Nepomuk wayside shrine. The chapel has a polygonal end, a shingled gable roof with a turret and a curved gable facade. It houses a Gothic altar with a painting of St. Nepomuk from 1818.

The Widum in Virgen is a mighty building with a medieval core. The dating of the sundial to 1647 may indicate the post-Gothic reconstruction and the construction of the ribbed vault.

The wayside shrine from the 17th century is located next to the Widum on the road to Niedermauern and was erected on a square shaft encased in a modern natural stone base. The niche top with a tent roof houses frescoes, which were painted over with depictions of Saints Virgil, Florian and Notburga in the course of the renovation in 1985.

The plague shrine is located at a fork in the road between Virgen and Niedermauern. The wayside shrine from the 17th century was renewed in the 1960s after it had to be relocated. It was built of natural stone, has a sweeping base and a wrought iron gridded round arch niche under a gable roof. In the niche there is a painting of the Lavanter procession, a copy of the Voitiv picture, the original of which is now in the church of Obermauern.

The Angstler-Hof is part of the estate "under the churches" mentioned in the first half of the 16th century, although the construction of the Angstler estate has been documented since 1780. The Paarhof consists of a two-storey house with a corner floor plan from the 18th century and a farm building that was moved here from the Defereggental in 1991. The two-storey delivery building in square block construction dates from the middle of the 20th century.

The Paarhof Obermaurer-Huber is part of the Hubergut, which was already mentioned in the 16th century, whereby the Obermaurer-Huber farm was first mentioned in 1779 and the residential house in the 19th century over a presumably older core from the 17th to 18th centuries in a mixed construction with a block purlin roof was built. The farm building in combined wood construction dates from the 17th to 18th centuries.

The Ausermantler estate is a documented part of the Mantler estate that has been built on since 1780 and already existed in the 16th century. The residential building of the Paarhof, which was heavily renovated in the 20th century, was built as a two-storey block building with a shingle-covered block purlin roof, the farm building with a parallel ridge alignment on a wall foundation in a combined wooden construction with a purlin roof.

The Innerschmieder farm was first mentioned in a document in 1780, when the free pen was owned by Schloss Bruck . The two-storey courtyard with a gable roof, built in mixed construction, dates from the 18th century, the forge, which was closed in 1958, is on the valley side. On the slope side, there is a farm section with a stone-walled stable that was rebuilt in the second half of the 20th century.

The pilgrimage church Maria Schnee is a late Gothic church with a retracted choir, a raised tower with a sacristy and a steep pitched roof. Thanks to its intactly preserved fresco cycle by Simon von Taisten, the church is one of the most important churches in East Tyrol.

The brick wayside shrine is on the pilgrimage route between Virgen and Obermauern. It has a shingle-covered gable roof that protects a high, flat-arched, closed altar niche. The wooden altar dates from the 18th century and shows a Pietà under the cross in front of a painted landscape background.

The Antonius Chapel at the eastern entrance to Virgen dates from the 17th century. The early baroque chapel without a tower has a polygonal end and a shingled gable roof. The altar dates from the middle of the 18th century.

The wayside shrine is located at the Antonius Chapel at the eastern entrance to Virgen and was built before the middle of the 15th century. The Gothic tabernacle shrine has an octagonal shaft over a projecting base plate, an attachment with gable-shaped niches and a gable roof. The frescoes in the niches are only partially preserved and show the Last Supper, a crucifixion scene, the death of Mary and probably St. Sebastian.

The monastery of the Franciscan Tertiary Sisters was founded at the end of the 19th century in a former inn and expanded to include a chapel inside and a garden wall. Children were taught in the monastery premises until they moved to the school house.

The essentially late Gothic inn from the 16th century is a two-storey building with a central corridor floor plan on the eaves side, a crooked roof and a round bay window. The facade bears a Baroque fresco of St. Zacchaeus from the 18th century and houses a wooden sculpture of St. Barbara from the 18th century and St. Florian from the 19th century.

The parish church, which is essentially medieval, was expanded in the second half of the 18th century. The four-bay building with a curved gable facade, polygonal choir, tower with pointed helmet and sacristy extension houses altars from the mid-19th century, baroque figural decorations and classicist elements.

While there is no medieval evidence of the existence of a cemetery, an ossuary was mentioned in a document in 1615 . In the same year a cemetery for unbaptized children was set up outside the cemetery walls. Today the complex extends around the parish church and is bordered by a field stone wall. On the premises there is a cemetery chapel with a funeral hall from 1843 (redesigned in 1982), a Lourdes chapel and a cemetery cross with a war memorial from the 18th century.

The New Year's Eve chapel was built on a rock next to a road in 1641 and the sacristy was added in 1895. The chapel with a polygonal choir, shingle-roofed gable roof and wooden turret houses an altar made of Swiss stone pine in 1737 with a figure of St. New Year in the center and a painting by Joachim and Anna and Maria in the excerpt. The chapel also houses numerous votive pictures from the 19th century.
