List of Brandenburg football champions 1902–1911
The list of football champions in Brandenburg includes all champions of the Märkisches Fußball-Bund (MFB) from 1902 to 1911.
On August 24, 1901, the association was founded under the name Free Berlin Football Association , in 1902 it was renamed Berlin Football Association and shortly afterwards to Märkischer Fußball-Bund . In the first two seasons, a total of 3 diploma series and a regional Gauliga were held, the Gaumeister then met in a final round to determine the Brandenburg football champions. For the 1904/05 season there was then a single-track upper division. In 1906 an MFB club qualified for the German soccer championship for the first time. In 1907 and 1908 there was a playoff between the master of the MFB and the master of the Association of Berliner Ballspielvereine (VBB) for participation in the German football championship. Both games lost the teams of the MFB. In 1909 the VBB refused to provide a participant, so that the MFB master was qualified for the German soccer championship. In 1910 and 1911, the football champions of both associations were allowed to take part in the DFB championship again.
On April 29, 1911, the union of the Märkischer Fußball-Bund (MFB), Berliner Ballspielvereine (VBB) and Berlin Athletics Association (VBAV) merged the Brandenburg Ball Game Clubs .
