from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of political associations not admitted to the 2009 Bundestag election contains all voter associations that wanted to participate in the 2009 Bundestag election but were not recognized as parties.

The federal electoral committee decided on July 17, 2009 on the party status of the indicated parties and electoral associations . 49 parties and political associations wanted to run for the Bundestag election and had submitted their wish to participate in the Bundestag election to the Federal Returning Officer. Of these 49, 21 were recognized as parties in the committee meeting and then had to submit state lists in order to be admitted to the federal election with them. 8 other parties that were already represented with seats in the Bundestag or a Landtag did not need to be recognized, but were allowed to vote in the Bundestag election without one.
