The list of political parties in Vietnam lists all active political parties in Vietnam.

Vietnam is a one-party state , in which the Communist Party of Vietnam is the unity party and thus has a monopoly on power and holds almost all seats in the National Assembly . The government banned all remaining political associations in the country. Many of them persist abroad, mostly in the United States . These have no influence on the political events in Vietnam, but hold many demonstrations at home and abroad. In addition, some parties have their own party newspapers, which mostly contain critical revelations against the communist government in Vietnam.
