List of Senegalese ambassadors in Gambia
The list of Senegalese ambassadors in the Gambia lists the diplomatic representatives of Senegal in the Gambia . They are not only as ambassador (Ambassador), but also as skin Commissaire dubbed (High Commissioner). The diplomats have their official residence in the Senegalese embassy in Gambia and, in addition to Gambia, are also accredited in Sierra Leone and Liberia , where Senegal maintains honorary consulates in Monrovia (Liberia) and Freetown (Sierra Leone).

The office in Banjul (Gambia), then Bathurst, was opened in 1961 as a consulate on Cameroun Street. It was led by Consul Amadou Diouf . In 1965, with the Gambia's independence from Great Britain, the Senegalese representation rose to the rank of embassy (High Commission). She was transferred to Kanifing Township , on Kairaba Avenue , near Banjul in 1996 .
