Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service

The Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service (RFA) is a largely civilian manned fleet. The owner is the Ministry of Defense . The main task of this fleet is to supply the warships of the Royal Navy during the sea mission with fuel, food, clothing and ammunition, which the warships need to carry out their missions smoothly. Furthermore, it carries out the aeronautical supply for the Royal Navy in combination with amphibious land supply. Furthermore, the supporting logistics in the form of safe sea transport for units of the British Army and their equipment is another task of the RFA.
