MS-DOS

Schism Tracker , a classic tracker with an interface generated (almost) exclusively from ASCII characters, as was common for trackers in the 1980s and 1990s

Scream tracker: 1990, Sami Tammilehto - one of the first MS-DOS trackers with support for sound samples .
X-tracker: 1994, d-lusion - successor to Creator (1991), up to 32 tracks, 255 samples and 1024 patterns as well as import of u. a. S3M files ( Scream Tracker 3 ) was possible. Commercial distribution 1995.
FastTracker: 1994, Triton demo crew trackers and the associated XM format were very popular in the late 1990s, a model for later trackers.
Impulse tracker: 1995, Jeffrey Lim - a popular tracker that supported 64 channels and 2MB samples. Has a Scream-Tracker-3- like GUI and uses the IT-Tracker format.

Nintendo

Nanoloop: 1998, Oliver Wittchow - Nanoloop is a sound editor and sequencer for the Nintendo Game Boy . An iPhone and iPod version was released in 2010, and an Android version in 2011.
Little Sound DJ: 2000, Johan Kotlinski - Little Sound DJ is also a sound editor and sequencer for different versions of the Nintendo Game Boy.
NitroTracker: 2006, Tobias Weyland - NitroTracker is a GPL-licensed project for the Nintendo DS in the FastTracker II style.

ZX Spectrum

Soundtracker: 1990, Jaroslaw Byrczynski - soundtracker for the three channels of the General Instrument AY-3-8910 audio chipset on the 128-K model of the ZX Spectrum . The soundtracker has been released into the public domain .

Cross-platform tracker

MilkyTracker: 2008, pailes et al. - MilkyTracker licensed under GPL, runs on Linux, FreeBSD, Windows, Windows CE, Mac OS X, AROS , AmigaOS 3.1 and Amiga OS 4.x Supports .MOD and .XM module files and has the right to look and feel of the FastTracker II as a second generation tracker. Based on the Digitrakker .MDL Player, in development since the mid-1990s.
Schism tracker: 2003, Mrs. Brisby, Storlek et.al. - GPL-based, for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, Wii , Pandora (and other platforms with GCC 4 and SDL support). Like OpenMPT, it is based on the ModPlug code base , but with a focus on appearance and handling and technical compatibility with the Impulse Tracker .
SunVox: 2011, Alex Zolotov - SunVox Freeware for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, PalmOS and Windows Mobile; also commercially available for the iPhone / iPod touch / iPad. Third generation tracker.
ChibiTracker: 2006, Juan Linietsky - ChibiTracker has a GNU open source license and runs on FreeBSD, BeOS and Nintendo DS. Based on the appearance and handling of the Impulse Tracker.
LittleGPTracker: 2009 - LittleGPTracker targets the handheld GP2X console , but also runs on the PSP, Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Protrekkr: 2009 - the former Noisetrekker by Juan Antonio Arguelles Rius is a tracker that combines a software synthesizer with a standard sample tracker. Noisetrekker also served as the code base for Renoise . Available for Windows, Linux, Amiga OS4, AROS and Mac OSX.
Family tracker: Allows music to be created for the NES and exported to .NSF format.
Klystrack: Enables the creation of chiptunes in the C64 / NES / Amiga style on modern computers.
