Litchie is software that can be used to manage and evaluate tournaments and leagues. The specialty of the software is that it can be adapted to the needs of the respective sport.

history

Nils Beckmann programmed the predecessor of Litchie in 2002 and published the software in 2007. In 2008 Litchie was included in the Heise theme special "Our Best", which also included programs such as Google Earth , Gnuplot and Eclipse .

Functions

The program offers the possibility to create game plans ( everyone against everyone , Swiss system , KO system etc.) and to enter results. Tables (with individually adjustable sorting criteria and, among other things, a 2 or 3 point victory) and statistics (including Elo rating and Buchholz rating ) can then be calculated from this. All results can be exported or printed as web pages with a customizable design. Terms such as "hits" / "goals" / "baskets" / "sentences" or "players" / "team" / "club" can be customized.
