The Little River is a river in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales .

It rises north of the Black Range , a small mountain range running in an east-west direction on the east side of the Great Dividing Range , not far from the road from Lithgow to Jenolan Caves . The ridge line of this mountain range also marks the northern boundary of the Kanangra Boyd National Park . On the north side of the Black Range, the Little River flows east and meets the Coxs River west of the small town of Euroka .

At its middle course it crosses the Six Foot Track , a hiking trail that leads from the Lithgow-Jenolan Caves road to Katoomba .
