Liu Hongliang (born April 2, 1997 ) is a Chinese long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Liu Hongliang gained his first international experience in 2013 when he won the gold medal in the 3000-meter run at the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing in 8: 25.86 minutes . In 2017 he took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he finished fourth in the 5000 meter run in 14: 57.95 minutes. In 2019 he won the International VP Bank Marathon in Hanoi after a time of 2:33:51 h.

In 2014 and 2017, Liu became the Chinese champion in the 5000 meter run.
