Liupanshui
Liupanshui ( Chinese 六盤水 市 / 六盘水 市 , Pinyin Liùpánshuǐ Shì ) is a district-free city in the west of the Chinese province of Guizhou . Liupanshui has an area of 9,914 square kilometers and has a population of 2,960,000 (2004). It is an important coal mining area.
Administrative structure
The district-free city of Liupanshui is composed of a district , a district-free city , a district and a special area. These are:
- Zhongshan District - ( 钟山区 ) Zhōngshān Qū (capital);
- Panzhou county-level city - ( 盘 州市 ) Pánzhōu Shì ;
- Shuicheng County - ( 水城县 ) Shuǐchéng Xiàn ;
- Special area Liuzhi - ( 六枝 特区 ) Liùzhī Tèqū .
