The district-free city of Tongren ( 铜仁 市 , Tóngrén Shì ) is located in the northeast of the Chinese province of Guizhou . It has an area of ​​18,003 km² and approx. 4,160,000 inhabitants (end of 2009).

Administrative structure

At the district level, Tongren is made up of two city districts, four districts and four autonomous districts. These are:

  • Bijiang District (碧江 区Bìjiāng Qū );
  • Wanshan District (万 山区Wànshān Qū ).
  • Jiangkou County (江口 县Jiāngkǒu Xiàn );
  • Shiqian County (石阡县Shíqiān Xiàn );

  • Circuit Dejiang (德江县Dejiang Xiàn );
  • Yuping Autonomous County of Dong (玉屏 侗族 自治县Yùpíng Dòngzú Zìzhìxiàn );
  • Yinjiang Autonomous County of the Tujia and Miao (印 江 土家族 苗族 自治县Yìnjiāng Tǔjiāzú Miáozú Zìzhìxiàn );
  • Yanhe Autonomous Okrug of the Tujia (沿河 土家族 自治县Yánhé Tǔjiāzú Zìzhìxiàn );
  • Songtao Autonomous County of the Miao (松桃 苗族 自治县Sōngtáo Miáozú Zìzhìxiàn ).
