Livia Giampalmo

Livia Giampalmo (born October 14, 1941 in Genoa ) is an Italian actress , voice actress , film director and screenwriter .

Life

Giampalmo is the daughter of a surgeon and graduated from the school of the "Piccolo Teatro di Milano" in 1963. Until the end of 1972 she was a stage actress a. a. to be seen in numerous pieces under Giorgio Strehler and Luigi Squarzina . In addition, she was hired several times for television roles, such as Lettera di una madre , La Roma di Moravia and E le stelle stanno a guardare . In the following years she mainly turned to synchronous work; she was the Italian voice of z. B. Jane Fonda , Diane Keaton , Goldie Hawn, and Dominique Sanda .

In 1990 Giampalmo made her debut as a cinema director with the interesting and sometimes biographical Evelina ei suoi figli based on her own script. Of her subsequent films, most of which were made for television, Il padre di mia figlia stands out in particular .

Giampalmo was married to Giancarlo Giannini from 1967 to 1975 and has two sons.
