Liz Couch (born October 11, 1974 ) is a New Zealand skeleton pilot .

Liz Couch from Auckland first started in November 1999 in the Skeleton World Cup . At the world championships of the season in Igls , she finished 15th. Her greatest success was when she took part in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , where the sport was held for the first time with a competition for women. Couch took eleventh place. In the World Cup she never got past 14th place, which she reached in December 2000 in La Plagne , in the Skeleton European Cup eighth place (November 2000 in Igls) was the best place. In races as part of the Challenge Cup, she came under the top three four times, but could not win any race.
