Ljerka Očić

Ljerka Očić (also Ljerka Očić-Turkulin , * 1960 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian organist .

Life

Ljerka Očić studied organ at the Ljubljana Music Academy with Hubert Bergant ; after graduating there, she studied with Gaston Litaize in Paris , with Michael Schneider at the Cologne University of Music and with Luigi Celeghin in Rome . She gave concerts in numerous European and Asian countries as well as in the USA, at times accompanying the trumpeter Stanko Arnold .

Since 1992 she has been teaching organ at the Zagreb Music Academy .

The cellist Jelena Očić is a sister of Ljerka Očić.
