Eloi Hubert "Lo" La Chapelle (born June 22, 1888 , † July 23, 1966 ) was a Dutch football goalkeeper .

On December 21, 1907, the tall goalkeeper of the then reigning champions HVV from The Hague played a friendly against an amateur team from England as a substitute goalkeeper for the Dutch national team . La Chapelle represented goalkeeper Reinier Beeuwkes in Darlington . The game in which La Chapelle's teammates first played in Orange was the Dutchman's eighth official international match. It was lost with 2:12, the Englishman Harold Stapley alone scored five goals , Vivian Woodward and Arthur Bell each three goals; James Raine contributed the twelfth hit . To date, it is Elftal's biggest defeat and La Chapelle is the goalkeeper who suffered the most opposing goals in an international match for the Dutch. The following year he was still part of the Netherlands squad at the Olympic Games in London, where the team won the bronze medal. The game with the twelve goals conceded, however, remained his only use for his home country.
