The logistics center Baden-Württemberg ( LZBW ) in Ditzingen is the central procurement office of the state of Baden-Württemberg . It was founded in 1953 as a state procurement office for the state police and renamed in 1998 to become a state operation in the logistics center of the police (LZP). An administrative regulation dated March 23, 2005 gave it its current name with effect from April 1, 2005.

task

The main task of the center is the procurement of equipment and clothing for the police, the law enforcement service and other public agencies in the country, as well as the delivery of clothing to these agencies. Uniforms are currently being procured primarily for the police, the prison administration, the forest administration and the water and road services. The logistics center procures all items that have to be procured centrally according to the procurement order for all authorities in the country. The universities are allowed to procure themselves, but should as a rule also cover their needs through the center.

  • Budget plans and household bills
  • Exam questions
  • Classified information
  • Print jobs to prisons and workshops for the disabled
  • Print jobs from financial control (audit office, municipal auditing institute, etc.)
