Map with all coordinates: The Lohberg Tunnel is a road tunnel in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district . It serves as a bypass for Nieder-Ramstadt on federal highway 426 . The tunnel has a length of 1.08 km. It was opened on June 29, 2007.
State of development
The tunnel has a tube with one lane in each direction of travel as well as an escape tunnel that runs parallel over around two thirds of the length in the southern part.

In the 2010 ADAC tunnel test, the tunnel was rated as one of the three safest in Germany.
