Paola Fabiana "Lola" Ponce (born June 25, 1982 in Capitán Bermúdez , San Lorenzo , Argentina ) is an Argentine- Italian singer and actress.

Career

Ponce was born in a musical family near the Argentine city of Rosario . At a young age she appeared in Latin America as a singer and later as an actress. In 2001 she released her first album Inalcanzable . In Barcelona she took part in the auditions for Riccardo Cocciantes musical Notre Dame de Paris and got the lead role, whereupon she moved to Italy and was able to benefit from the great success of the musical. In 2004 her second album Fearless was released , on which she sang in English. She also remained active as an actress in her home country.

At the side of her musical partner Giò Di Tonno , Ponce presented the song Colpo di fulmine, written by Gianna Nannini , at the 2008 Sanremo Festival and won the competition. She then released the third album Il diario di Lola . This was followed by appearances in film and television (both in Italy and Argentina) and in 2011 the album Lola .
