Lomitz is a district of the Prezelle community in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

The village is located south of the core area of ​​Prezelle and south-east of the B 493 . To the south of the village extends the 535 hectare marshy nature reserve Planken and Schletauer Post , which drains the Lucie Canal, which drains to the west .

On July 1, 1972 Lomitz was incorporated into the municipality of Prezelle.
