At the London Conference , the great European powers Great Britain , France , Austria , Prussia and Russia recognized the independence of Belgium after the Belgian Revolution , which was documented in the minutes of December 20, 1830 and January 20, 1831 . Contracts concluded later confirmed these agreements.
