Lone Larsen

Lone Larsen (born June 13, 1955 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish- born sculptor and painter who lives in Sweden .

Lone Larsen originally worked as a nurse , so the perception of the human body and human life play an important role in her work. It depicts human body parts, for example a tongue or ulcers and bumps in space-consuming sculptures, and it is intended that the viewer perceive human body parts in other dimensions. For example, it forms and positions a tongue as a seat and invites you to sit down. It intends to achieve different perceptions of the viewer. She not only works out representational, but also in abstract works of art .

Her sculptures are made of plastic, bronze and marble . She lives and works in Höganäs in the southern Swedish province of Skåne län .
