Longgang ( Chinese  龍崗 區  /  龙岗 区 , Pinyin Lónggǎng qū ) is the second largest of the ten districts of the Chinese city of Shenzhen after Bao'an . The district is located in the northeast of the city next to the Bao'an, Luohu and Yantian districts .

Since there are generally very many migrant workers in the district and also in other parts of Shenzhen, the number of inhabitants could only be given very imprecisely until the 2010 census, which also included them. The official figure for 2003 was 250,000 people with their primary residence in Longgang.

The city district of Longgang is also home to the world's largest oil painting workshop, the artist village of Dafen .
