Longo maï
Longo maï ( Provencal for “It may take a long time”) is a cooperative founded in 1973 that now operates farms at ten locations in five countries . Around 200 people live in the cooperatives, which are run anti-capitalist on the basis of self-administration .
history
After May 1968 the Swiss apprentice group Hydra and the Viennese group Spartakus merged to form Longo maï. In 1972 they held their founding congress in Basel (Manifesto: The Crisis, An Attack), then they emigrated to Limans near Forcalquier in Provence and opened a cooperative.

- Chantemerle spinning mill near Briançon (wool processing 12-15 tons per year)
- Mas de Granier, in the village of Caphan in Saint-Martin-de-Crau ( Bouches-du-Rhône ), France ;

- Cabrery, wine and olives
- Ulenkrug, Mecklenburg , Germany ;
- Hof Stopar ⊙ Eisenkappel in Carinthia , Austria
- Farm Montois Undervelier in the Swiss Jura , certified organic
- Uzhhorod , Zakarpattia, Ukraine
- Finca Sonador , Costa Rica
The office of the cooperative, in which the administrative threads come together (but no directives to the cooperatives are issued), is located in the St. Johanns-Vorstadt in Basel.
The cooperative publishes the news from Longo maï . The European Citizens' Forum and the CEDRI (Comité Européen pour la Défense des Réfugiés et Immigrés) are closely linked, each with its own magazines.
Radio Zinzine , the cooperative radio in Limans, was founded in 1981.
