O'Neil Longson is a professional American poker player . He is three-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Poker career

Career

Longson is from Las Vegas . Since 1980 he has regularly participated in renowned live tournaments .

In May 1980 Longson was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas and reached the final table in a tournament of the No Limit Hold'em variant . In the following years he was also seen at the WSOP and occasionally placed in the money. In 1991 he finished twelfth in the main event . At the 1994 WSOP , Longson won a Pot Limit Omaha tournament for around $ 100,000 in prize money and a bracelet . In early March 1995, he won the championship event of the LA Poker Classic for $ 114,000. In mid-November 1996, he won the United States Poker Championship in Seven Card Stud and received 200,000 US dollars in prize money. At the 2003 World Series of Poker , he won his second bracelet in Deuce to Seven Lowball and finished second in Pot Limit Omaha . In 2005 he won his third bracelet in Seven Card Razz .

Overall, Longson has earned more than $ 2 million in poker live tournaments.
