Lopp is a district of the market Kasendorf in the district of Kulmbach ( administrative district of Upper Franconia ). The village of Lopp is one of the lower districts of the market. It is on the Lopper Bach.

In 1323 the village was first mentioned as "Sloppe".

The previously independent municipality of Lopp was dissolved on January 1, 1972 and divided between the markets of Kasendorf and Mainleus.
