Peesten
Peesten is a district of the market Kasendorf in the district of Kulmbach ( administrative district of Upper Franconia ).
The village of Peesten is located about three kilometers northeast of Kasendorf and has 260 inhabitants with the districts Dörnhof and Lichtentanne. Peesten was an independent municipality until it was incorporated into the Kasendorf market on July 1, 1976. The landmark of the place is the Tanzlinde , which was restored in 2001 based on the historical model. Opposite her is the former hunting lodge of the Giech family .
