Lorenz (Werle)
Lorenz, Herr zu Werle [-Güstrow] (* between 1338 and 1340; † between February 24, 1393 and May 6, 1394 ) was Herr zu Werle-Güstrow from 1360 to 1393/94 .
He was the eldest son of Nicholas III. , Herr zu Werle-Güstrow and Agnes.
After the death of the father Nicholas III. in the year 1360/61 he ruled alone and from 21 September 1365 at the earliest together with his brother Johann V. This is the date of a jointly signed document. Johann died young before September 9, 1378. From then on Lorenz signed the documents alone again. Lorenz signed a document for the last time on February 24, 1393.
He was married to Mechthild († before December 17, 1402), the daughter of Nicholas IV , Herr zu Werle [-Goldberg].
