reception

Paul Jandl wrote in a review in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung in 2009 "Here in the rain", the novel in which the gates of the sky open to flood Bern's old town, but which leaves everything as it was, is not a spectacular one another ironic book. It thrives on a sympathetic attitude that elevates the bored to a literary figure without ever being boring itself. As a sensitive prose writer of the quiet misfortune, Langenegger may not be overheard in the future.

Martin Ebel wrote in a review in 2014 in the Literary World Reading can also be a kind of criminal imprisonment if you have to spend the reading time with someone who is thoroughly uninteresting.
