Lorenzo Squizzi (born June 20, 1974 in Domodossola ) is a former Italian football player .
Career
Squizzi began in the youth of the Italian record champions Juventus Turin in 1992 and received his first professional contract there in 1994. Although he won the championship title with the team in 1994/95 despite only one deployment, he switched to SPAL Ferrara on loan in 1995 , from where he moved directly to USD Atletico Catania in 1996 . After a year and 32 games, he moved to AS Lucchese Libertas . He only stayed there for two years before signing a contract with US Salernitana . In 2000 he moved to AC Reggiana , a year later he left the club in the direction of AC Monza Brianza . In 2002 he was awarded for one season to AC Cesena , 2003 for another year to Catania Calcio . In 2004 he signed with AC Perugia Calcio for a year before moving to Chievo Verona in 2005 . He stayed there after three contract extensions until his end of career in 2014 and rose to Serie A with the club in 2008 .
