Loreta Graužinienė (born Šniokaitė ; born January 10, 1963 in Rokiškis ) is a Lithuanian auditor and former politician , chairwoman of the Seimas .

Life

From 1977 Loreta Šniokaitė lived in Lentvaris and from 1979 in Žiežmariai in the Rajongemeinde Kaišiadorys . After graduating from secondary school Žiežmariai in 1981, she graduated in 1992 from studying accounting at the Faculty of Economics of Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1983 to 1984 she worked as an accountant in the "Žiburio" kolkhoz in the district of Ukmergė . From 1994 to 2004 she taught at the secondary agricultural school in Ukmergė . In 1997 she became an auditor .

In 2007, Graužinienė was selected as a member of the Council of the Ukmergė Rajong Municipality. From 2004 she was a member of the Seimas , from October 2013 to November 2016 chairwoman of the Seimas (second woman in this position after Degutienė ).

Graužinienė is a member of Darbo partija . She was party leader of the Darbo partija (leiboristai) .

Graužinienė is married and with the husband Julius Graužinis (* 1942) has sons Eimantas (* 1987) and Julius (* 2002).
