Lori Leux (born June 23, 1896 in Berlin ; † January 30, 1964 there ; born Eleonore Margareta Leux ) was a German actress .

Life

The daughter of a sculptor and an opera singer received singing lessons from her mother and began her first engagement at the Theater des Westens in 1914 . Later she sang especially at the Metropol Theater .

From 1918 she was seen in a few leading roles in silent films, but from the mid-20s she only played theater. Since the late 30s she has mainly appeared in guest performances. Of their songs was especially the 1924 appeared on a record, in a duet with Paul Heidemann put forward wait, just wait a little while from the operetta Marietta by Walter Kollo (Text: Willi Kollo ) successful.

Lori Leux also made a name for herself as a racing team owner. In the 1950s she reappeared in a few small film roles.
