Lorna Boothe
Lorna Marie Boothe (born December 5, 1954 in Kingston , Jamaica ) is a British former hurdler who specialized in the 100 meter distance .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she reached the semifinals.
In 1978 she won the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton for England . At the European Athletics Championships in Prague , she was eliminated in the semi-finals.
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, she did not get past the first round.
In 1982 she won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane , and in 1983 she reached the quarter-finals of the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki .
Once she was English champion over 100 m hurdles (1977) and five times English indoor champion over 60 m hurdles (1975, 1977-1979, 1983).
