Lothar Müller-Güldemeister

Lothar Müller-Güldemeister (born August 31, 1947 in Hildesheim ) is a German lawyer .

Life

Lothar Müller-Güldemeister, second of three children of the Slavist Ludolf Müller and his wife, the church musician Gerlinde Müller geb. Güldemeister, grew up in Kiel and Tübingen . In Tübingen he visited a. a. the Uhland high school . He studied law, history and politics in Bochum , Bonn and Tübingen . After working in business and as a film producer, he settled in Magdeburg as a lawyer in 1991 . In 1996, together with other investors, he founded FORIS AG , in which he implemented the system of commercial litigation financing he had developed , and was initially its chairman of the supervisory board, and from 1997 to 2002 a member of the management board. In 1999 Foris AG shares were admitted to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The FORIS AG model developed by Müller-Güldemeister is now also operated by a number of other companies, including subsidiaries of Allianz Versicherung and Roland Rechtsschutz Versicherung . In 2002 he left the board of FORIS AG in a dispute . He described the foundation, the IPO and his departure from FORIS AG in the book Das Recht und seine Preis: Der Fall Foris . In 2006 he published a work on the naturalization test proposed by the Hessian Interior Minister . In February 2013 his novel Uhlandgymnasium was published , in which he a. a. Used experiences from his school days. Müller-Güldemeister lives and works as a lawyer in Berlin .
