Lothar Pfuhl
Lothar Pfuhl (born August 30, 1951 ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .
Athletic career
He won his first title at the races of the Children's and Youth Partakiade in 1968. In 1971 he contested his first major stage race with the GDR Tour . He started a total of six times in the tour, the 13th place in 1975 remained his best result in the final classification. In 1972 he had his first assignment for the national team of the GDR at the Tour de Bohemia .
He won the GDR championship in 1975 in the team time trial with Joachim Vogel , Peter Lantzsch and Thomas Schneider . In 1976 he was able to defend the title with Günter Kubasch , Thomas Schneider and Joachim Vogel. Pfuhl started for the SC Karl-Marx-Stadt .
