Lothar Weise (Author)

Lothar Weise (* 1931 in Ebersbach ; † 1966 ) was a German writer and science fiction author.

Life

After the Second World War, Weise did an apprenticeship as a weaver and became a textile engineer, before devoting himself full-time to writing from 1962.

First he published three short stories and one novel, which he had written together with the older author Kurt Herwarth Ball . He later published two novels that were reissued several times under his own name. All works appeared in the specialized series “ The New Adventure ” and “ Exciting Narrated ” by the Berlin publishing house Neues Leben . After his untimely death, another story, composed with Ball, was published, “In the ice of the comet”.
