Lothar II (Italy)
. Lothar II (* around 928 , † 22 November 950 in Turin ) from the family of bosonids was king of Italy (946-950) and the National kings counted.
Life
Lothar was the son of King Hugo I of Italy and Alda and was married to Adelheid of Burgundy , the daughter of King Rudolf II of Hochburgund . Promised since 933, they married in 947 before June 27th.
Since 931 Lothar was co-regent of his father, whom he succeeded on the throne in 946. The actual rule during his lifetime, however, was held by Berengar II , Margrave of Ivrea. This followed Lothar after his sudden death to the royal throne.
Lothar's II daughter Emma von Arles was married to the West Franconian King Lothar in 966 .
