Lothar von Wulffen

Max Johann Lothar von Wulffen (born November 15, 1873 in Pietzpuhl , † December 1, 1945 in Mühlberg / Elbe ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Lothar von Wulffen was the son of Majoratsherr Odo von Wulffen and Ada, née von Thümen . After attending grammar school in Quedlinburg , he studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität . In 1896 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After completing his studies, he became the owner of the Pietzpuhl Fideikommisses . He was head of office and a member of the district council. He belonged to the farmers' union . In the Prussian Army he was Rittmeister of the Reserve.

From 1908 to 1918 Wulffen sat as a member of the constituency Magdeburg 3 (Jerichow II, Jerichow I) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .

Lothar von Wulffen protested against the results of the runoff election for the 1912 Reichstag election because of irregularities in the voting .
