Lotta & der Schöne Schein is a German TV film by Christina Schiewe from 2019 . It is the seventh episode of the ZDF film series Lotta with Josefine Preuss in the title role. The television series is based on the book The Last Things by Annegret Held .

Lotta becomes a lecturer for a revision course at the university, where she looks after a student who tries to cope with the high pressure to perform with medication. Her daughter Lilo has problems at school and mother Lotta overslepts her school trip. Her father Meinolf falls in love with the neighbor and her brother Sebastian separates from his wife.
