Lotte Grigel (born April 5, 1991 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish handball player .
Career
Lotte Grigel started playing handball at KVIK Esbjerg at the age of six. With the club she won the Danish championship in the Piger age group in 2006 and the Danish championship in the lady junior age group in 2008 . In 2008 the back player moved to Team Esbjerg , where she played in the Danish top division. In November 2015, she joined the Russian first division club GK Rostov-on-Don . With Rostov, she won the EHF Cup and the Russian championship in 2017 . From summer 2017 she was under contract with the Hungarian club Debreceni Vasutas SC . Grigel has been under contract with the French first division Nantes Atlantique Handball since the 2019/20 season .
Grigel made 43 appearances for the Danish U18 national team, scoring 203 goals. In the summer of 2008, Grigel took third place at the U18 World Cup and was voted the best playmaker in the Allstar team.
On October 14th, 2008, Grigel made her debut in the Danish senior team at the age of 17, 6 months and 9 days , making her the fourth youngest debutante in the Danish national dress . Then she finished eleventh in the same year at the European Championships in Macedonia .
