The Louis Baare Vocational College is a vocational college in the Wattenscheid district of Bochum . The school is named after the economic pioneer Louis Baare .

The laying of the foundation stone for the new main building took place on March 25, 1999; the construction costs amounted to around 20 million DM (around 13,100,000 euros). The school has around 2,100 students who are taught by around 100 teachers.
