Louis-Do de Lencquesaing (born December 25, 1963 in Paris , France ) is a French actor , film director and screenwriter .

biography

Louis-Do de Lencquesaing studied acting at the Cours Périmony and then worked for several years at the theater. He made his screen debut in the 1991 drama The Life of the Dead, staged by Arnaud Desplechin , alongside Thibault de Montalembert and Emmanuelle Devos . In addition to his acting, de Lencquesaing worked as a director and screenwriter. In 1999 and 2009, for example, he directed the two short films Mécréant and Même pas en rêve . He made his feature film debut as an auteur filmmaker in 2012 with the comedy Au galop .

He has a daughter, the actress Alice de Lencquesaing, with the camerawoman Caroline Champetier . He is currently in a relationship with the actress Aurélia Alcaïs , with whom he has a son.
