Louis Kindscher

Louis Kindscher (actually: Heinrich Karl Ludwig Kindscher ) (born October 16, 1800 in Dessau , † February 1875 in Wörlitz ) was a German organist and composer .

Life

Kindscher received early lessons from his father Gottfried Kindscher , the organist of the Dessau Palace and City Church . From 1820 he was a student of Johann Gottfried Shift in Leipzig . In 1824 he took over the office of his father and in 1854 became a singing teacher at the seminary in Köthen .

He drew attention to himself with some notable articles in the Allgemeine Musikischen Zeitung .
