Louis Leplée

Louis Leplée (born April 7, 1883 in Bayonne , France, † April 6, 1936 in Paris ) was a French nightclub owner who discovered the French chanson singer Édith Piaf in 1935 . Piaf played in the popular Paris nightclub Le Gerny as "Môme Piaf" (Little Sparrow).

Leplée was murdered in his apartment in Paris on April 6, 1936. Piaf was questioned intensively by the police.
