Louis Sire

Louis Emile Paul Sire (born October 3, 1875 in Châtellerault ; † unknown) was a French racing driver .

Career

In the 1920s, Louis Sire was a works driver alongside Gaston Delalande , Jean de Marguenat and Georges Guignard on the racing team of the French car manufacturer Rolland-Pilain . During this time, the French competed four times in the Le Mans 24-hour race . In 1923 , at the debut event of the endurance race , he finished the race together with Guignard as 21st overall. In 1925 - with de Marguenant - and in 1924 - with Louis Tremel - he achieved placings with a seventh and ninth place and the top ten teams in the overall standings. In 1926 the distance covered was not enough to classify.
