Louis Sable
Louis Walter Gottfried Zobel (born November 15, 1870 in Neumark , Löbau district , † June 17, 1964 in Berlin ) was a German local politician.
Career
From 1891, Zobel taught first in West Prussia , then in Magdeburg and came to Schöneberg in 1897 . In 1903 he became a city councilor there and was a member of the city debt deputation and the deputations for building construction, welfare and settlement. After Schöneberg was incorporated into Berlin on October 1, 1920, he was also a city councilor there, until he had to give up his mandate on March 14, 1933 due to political pressure. After the end of the Second World War he was again active in local politics in the district assembly of Schöneberg .
He campaigned for the promotion of school sport all his life and was appointed city gymnastics councilor.
Zobel was buried in an honorary grave of the city of Berlin on the state-owned II. Municipal cemetery Eythstrasse .
